Chalets Sperry and Granite Park Chalets were built around the turn of the century by the Great Northern Railroad and are designated National Historic Landmarks. They are two of eight original Glacier chalets. Most of these chalets, built with all natural materials, were a full day trip away from the Grand Lodges in the newly established Park. The Glacier chalets represent the finest of Montana backcountry accommodations. |
