Beartooth Nature Center


The Beartooth Nature Center is a wildlife refuge and educational facility dedicated to the conservation of Montana's wildlife. BNC is the only public facility in the state whose mission is to house native animals that cannot be returned to the wild due to injury, abandonment or human habituation. BNC cares for 71 animals of 39 different species, including wolves, mountain lions, black bears, bison, elk, eagles and hawks.

Directions
From the North (1-90): Take Highway 212 towards Red Lodge. Turn left on 2nd Street East, continue to the end of the road, turn left towards the Nature Center.

From the South (The Pass): Take Highway 212 through the town of Red Lodge. Turn right onto 2nd Street East, continue to the end of the road, turn left towards the Nature Center.
