Location & Getting Here:

Deer Lodge is 80 miles east of Missoula and 40 miles west of Butte in westcentral Montana. Accessed from I-90. Nearest airport is Butte.
By the Clark Fork River on I-90 in a long valley between snow-covered mountains is the historic city of Deer Lodge. This easily accessible area is a hit with family groups as well as those looking for adventure. Enjoy wide open spaces under a big blue sky.
 
  TRAILS:
The snowmobile trailhead is eight miles southeast of the city center and has ample parking. 91.5 miles of marked and groomed trails lead to Champion Pass, the Continental Divide, Leadville, White House Campground and other points of interest.

  ELEVATION:
 5,300' At the trailhead; trails to 8,000'
 
  SERVICES:
Food, lodging, fuel and vehicle repair in Deer Lodge. Snowmobile service and rentals are in Butte, 40 miles east.
